Does anyone else feel a little overwhelmed by all the social media sites out there these days? I know I do from time to time, and with the emergence of Vine its only going to get worse! I don’t have a Vine account, but that doesn’t mean I won’t in the future, because watching Vines like these are just so hilarious it just makes me want to join in on the fun. Enjoy!

Knockaround x Padres Friarknocks

This past Friday 80′s night at Petco Park was sponsored by Knockaround Sunglasses (Knockaround is a sunglass company that is home-based out of San Diego). It was dope how the Knockaround logo was everywhere. The Padres really hooked them up with some serious exposure. They were on the jumbotron, banners, the works and it was awesome. It’s exciting to see when companies make big moves and I’d say collaboration with the San Diego Padres is pretty big. The game itself was fun too! Got to catch up with E.Vil Hippo (my friend Eric V.) and ran into Vivi working the stands. As far as how the game went, we lost: we went up to start, then started losing, then came back, but then lost in extra.. all good though it was still fun to be out there supporting the home team.

Oh and also! To hype up for the Padre game, Knockaround threw a pep rally at Mission Brewery on the Wednesday before, it was fun! Got to hang out with some of my really good friends and catch up a bit with some creative minds from San Diego. I suck at taking pictures so I don’t even try anymore, but Sannith was there and his pictures always look sharp, so give his blog a look since hes got that department covered.

San Diego Padres Home Opener

So this past Tuesday my sister and I were out eating lunch, watching the news coverage of the downtown block party for the Padres opening day while thinking about how much we wanted to go.. A friend then came up and asked me if I was off for the rest of the day and if I was, if I wanted to go to the Padre game because she had 2 tickets that she couldn’t use. Whoa, hecks yeah I wanna go!

My sister and I both work hard at what we do, and maybe this was just that little break we needed. Sun was out, food was good, and Padres won 9-3 against the Dodgers. Can’t beat that! Here are a few fliccs and a video I chopped up. It was a fun time and I would definitely consider going to every home opener if I could.. While the team doesn’t look strong right now, we always root for the home team. Go Padres!
